Her father is a retired Major from the United States Air Force and for the 1st 13 years of Jemina’s life, she lived in 2 countries, 4 states and is currently residing in Ocean Springs MS. Today, Jemina works for the United States government where she is a Human Resources Assistant for Civilian Personnel office. In the last 10 years, she has worked at several different places but the work in the ministry that God has called her to do has become her main priority.
Along with her husband, Jemina is the Worship Pastor for Victory International Christian Center. In 2008, she became the dance leader for the dance ministry at her church called “House of Praise.” In 2007, she hosted a daddy/daughter event for young girls between the ages of 5-18 called “Princess Diaries.” In 2010, she hosted an event for young ladies ages 18-25 called “A Young Lady’s Walk.” In April of 2011, she hosted a women’s conference (which is now annual) at her home church Victory International Christian Center where the women’s ministry “Daughters of Faith” was birth out of.
Daughters of Faith, is a God encountered movement of approximately 150 women from all churches and walks of life and is rapidly growing. Since the inception Daughters of Faith has had unique services such as a ‘Worship Night with the King’ and a ‘Praise Rally.’ D.O.F also seeks to be an outreach to the community, helping unfortunate people by giving them hope through giving. In September of 2011, D.O.F came together one night and donated a large number of baby items to a young teenage girl who has just had a baby but did not have anything for the baby. In Dec 2013 D.O.F.I.M hosted a shoe give away, giving approximately 200 shoes to many women of different communities. As Jemina is instructed by God, her vision for this group of God-fearing women is to change the culture of women in this area, helping them know that they can do all things through the one that made them who they are, Jesus the Christ.
